4 of the 250 elephants scattered around London
I thought I was getting away from Thailand for a couple weeks, but Thailand was everywhere I went – it seemed that every other restaurant in Amsterdam was Thai and in London I ran into Thai elephants – many painted by Thai artists- all over the city. Then on the last day in London there was the Thailand at Trafalgar Square annual food festival event. The only thing different was the prices – which is why I stuck to the european food (and beer ) while I was away – and perhaps that is why I brought back to Thailand some extra weight. It was good to be away for awhile, but it is great to be back.
